ABOUT THE EVENT

The anti-rights movement started by attacking reproductive freedom and LGBTQI+ rights as a way to fracture societies and drive wedges between human rights movements. A highly coordinated, well-funded force, it is now working to undermine democracy and reshape climate policy, education systems, care infrastructure, peace and security frameworks, and individual autonomy. Together, Kinaura Partners, Arch Collaborative, Libera, ODI Global, and the Collaborative for Gender + Reproductive Equity are co-hosting a 90-minute LeadersTalk at this year's Reykjavík Global Forum to unpack anti-rights actors’ aims across these sectors and elevate strategies for more effective collaboration and resistance. This session will bring together voices rarely in the same room, highlighting frontline stories and leaders working at the intersection of climate defense, pro family policy, education, and narrative change.

This session is designed to move beyond conversation. Participants will leave with a shared threat analysis, new cross-sector relationships, sharper narrative and messaging strategies, and a real commitment to coordinated action. If you're working to defend human rights in any sector, we hope you’ll join us in this urgent conversation.
