Generation to Generation - Leadership Exchange is designed to bring established and emerging women leaders into a shared space of learning, reflections, and empowerment. Rather than following a traditional model in which experience flows in one direction, from senior to younger participants, the initiative champions a reciprocal approach.
The programme recognises that leadership evolves across time and that each generation brings distinct strengths; seasoned leaders carry deep insight, institutional understanding, and strategic perspective, while younger leaders contribute new thinking, contemporary awareness, and fresh approaches to global challenges. This initiative seeks to honor both.
Through structured conversations and ongoing exchange, participants will explore leadership values, decision-making, resilience, influence, purpose, and the responsibilities of power. By fostering a dialogue that is equal, respectful, and future-oriented, the Leadership Exchange aims to strengthen women´s leadership across sectors and regions. It reflects the spirit of Power, Together, emphasising that shared wisdom across generations is essential to building stronger, more inclusive forms of leadership.

WANT TO JOIN THE LEADERSHIP EXCHANGE PROGRAMME?
Women leaders, aged 20+ from around the world can apply to be part of the Leadership Exchange Programme

Reykjavik Global Foundation is inviting women leaders from all sectors across the globe to join this initiative.
Successful applicants will be paired with another leader selected from a global pool of applicants who wish to join the Leadership Exchange Programme. Pairs will meet 8 times for guided conversation and mutual reflections throughout the 12 month programme period.
Sessions may occur virtually or in person, depending on individual circumstances, with thematic prompts and framework provided to support meaningful conversation. Sessions will be in English unless otherwise agreed.
