Who Does Capital Work For? Rewiring Financial Markets for Gender Equality, Economic Resilience and Shared Prosperity
Convened by UN Women’s Sustainable Finance Programme, this LeadersTalk will bring together political and financial leaders to explore how financial markets can better support inclusive, resilient and sustainable economic development. Drawing on Iceland’s pioneering sovereign gender bond, the discussion will examine how governments, investors and financial institutions can embed gender equality into the policies, standards and investment decisions that shape capital allocation, strengthening economic resilience and advancing shared prosperity.
