This years programme will centre around the global adoption of the Reykjavik Action Items: Equal Pay, Equal Representation, Equal parental Leave and Ending Gender-based Violence, while the programming focus will include the below areas at the intersection of Women’s Leadership:
Democracy & Rights
What are the successful policies establishing protections for democracy and human rights, amid today's authoritarian headwinds? How are women leaders pressing forward to protect the rule of law and to ensure fundamental rights such as freedom of expression, access to information, and equal participation in public life?
Justice & Security
Economic stability, human rights protections, and restorative approaches that address the root causes of harm are fundamental elements of modern, progressive justice systems. Exploring how fairness, accessibility, and transparency can build trust and strengthen society is a critical mission for a gender equal world.
Health & Caregiving
Investing in health and caregiving improves individual well-being, strengthens economies and establishes social bonds. Strong health systems and are vital for resilient, inclusive societies.
Men & Boys
Developing a culture of excellence for men and boys is essential for achieving gender equality. Together, we can promote emotional well-being, and positive engagement for men and boys in an increasingly complex world.
Culture & Sports
Sports and culture are deeply intertwined, reflecting and shaping societal values, identities, and norms. From the global stage of the Olympics to local communities, sports and culture are converging to advance gender equality, from equal pay to parental leave to health and care.
AI & Sustainability
Artificial intelligence must be developed and governed responsibly to reinforce equality, optimize sustainability and accelerate solutions to the world's most pressing needs. How can women leaders meet the need for visionary, ethical AI solutions?
As a Conversationist, you will have the opportunity to join a diverse, intimate, and collaborative coalition of leaders - from business, politics, academia, culture, media, and other sectors - in the pursuit of a more equitable world in which gender parity and equal rights are embedded into all aspects of decision-making and leadership.
